Very strange hazy brown colour, almost no head. Smells strange, The flavour is disguisting. Didn’t finish it, maybe a bad bottle. I don’t even want to know. (Bottle 25cl)

A bottle shared with the lovely and callipygian Lauren upon a dark and dour Monday’s eve in the final days of January. But soft! What lurks within this picayune and emerald hued flagon, adorned with a ridged crown? Upon removing the cap and liberating the cork we were met with a hazed liquid, the color of garnets and rubies once it flowed forth into our chalices. Atop this elixir sat a soft white head of bubbles both dirty and scumful in appearance.
The aroma was swiftly met upon our noses; that of chemicals, and rotting strawberries hot in the crackling sun of a midsummer’s afternoon. The cloying drink was sweet indeed, again reminiscent of strawberries, but with the piquant addition of a flavor that reminded us of dirty socks, redolent with the sweat of a large and cumbersome knave.
Again a wafting of the aroma prior to quaffing brings forward a barnyard cacophony of infected paper, making us loathe to chance imbibe any further. In apt comparison the sweetness was not as saccharine in its nature as that of the drink made by the Men of Linde or Timmer, nor those who worship Louis the Saint, yet still sticky in our mouths as it cloyed at our palates, ripe but with the flavor of the chewing gum of my youth.

This sugar shit be full of strawberries and old socks.

bottle from toft vin. cloudy red, smooth offwhite to pinkish head. sweet strawberries, lambic and faint rubber in the aroma. Initially it seemed quite sour, but after a little while it seemd to be pretty fruity sweet. flavor is lambic, tart strawberries, quite tart and sour for its kind, faint bitter woody note, faint rubber, pretty decent strawberry lambic.

Bottle. Pours a hazy red with a small, short lasting head. Taste and aroma of strawberry is very good but not tart enough for a lambic. Great flavor. With a little more tartness it would be good.

The beer pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the vegetables with some strawberry notes mixed in. The vegetable notes are something I get from a lot of the Chapeau lambics. The flavor is heavy on the sweet, sugary strawberries with some grass and vegetable notes. Light tartness, but overall the beer is still pretty sweet. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation.

Poured from the bottle red-brown with off-white head and very little lacing. Aroma of strawberry and oak. Taste is tart strawberry with just a touch of sweetness. I found this to be quite an enjoyable fruity beer.

Weird orange to red colour. Smells a bit like strawberry yoghurt. Tastes a bid like nasty fruits and slightly sour. Didn’t like it.
