Scopey (6138) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2014
Bottle from Beers of Europe. It pours pinkish gold with a small pink-white head. The nose is sweet, tangy raspberry, artificial stuff, sugar and fruit soda. The taste has a continual artificial feeling to it.....comprises mostly of sweet tangy raspberry, sugar fruits and candy with a short, sweet finish. Light body and average carbonation. Much more akin to a soft drink than anything else, but not the worst one of the chapeau bunch.

Bottle (250 ml). Shared by JulienHuxley, thanks! Hazy maroon with no head and little lacing. Aroma is of raspberry jam/soda, sugar and very light tartness. Taste is sugary and of raspberry jam and very light acidity. Light/medium body. Moderate carbonation. Sugary finish. You can’t tell there is lambic in there, but at least it’s not offensive. Raspberry juice with bubbles.

Bottle. Almost still red brown pour. Aroma of raspberry pie, really sweet raspberry. Taste is fruity, pure raspberry juice, light berry acidity, but I can’t tell this is made with lambic. I was really apprehensive about this beer, but I’ve had worse in terms of sweetened lambic. I think I’ll try another...

duft; dufter meget kraftigt af hindbær smag: smag af hindbær. meget sød, vil mene at det ikke er øl nok mere en saftevand eller sodavan

Served from a bottle at Lexington Beerworks (KY) Dark red-brown color with a decent head and lacing. Strong raspberry aroma with hints of cherries, jam and cooked rapberries plus a very slight funk. Flavor: Follows the nose. Strong and dominant raspberry flavor. Mildly sweet, with a near perfect level of sweetness give the limited tartness. Light body; medium carbonation. O: excellent raspberry flavor despite a less promising aroma. 3.75 3.5 4 4 4

Pours hazy amber with a reddish tan head that quickly dissipated to nothing. Aroma is strawberry, light funk and earthy. Taste is sweet with a twinge of sour, much sweeter then expected. Light bodied with a stickyb finish.

250 ml bottle. 3.5%. BB 06/11/15. (K-Supermarket) Helsinki, Finland.
Murky dark reddish brown colour with almost no head. The aroma is like tart raspberry juice. The flavour is sourness, tartness, sweetness, raspberries and mild malt. Not very good. There’s something bugging me... maybe the sweetness. No carbonation.

Bottle. Big raspberry and dark sugar aroma. Dark tea color. Mild tart berries and cherries / some substantial and unusual funk on upper palate / extended fruit notes in final. Thin-medium body, slightly astringent. Full of flavors, some of them not entirely pleasant.
