Bottle. Reddish in colour with a small head. Rasberry flavour and very very sweet. A faint sourness but just way too sticky for me.

Intense raspberry aroma. Flat. This has got some bite. Has quite a bit of floaties and a raspberry flavor. A little funky in the finish. Sour, but nice.

Pours reddish-purple with a very small head and nice 1/8th-inch complete retention to the bottom of the glass. Raspberries to the nose (indicative of style), semi-natural with an earthen quality. Flavors lean toward a sour raspberry, with an odd hint of Green Apple Jolly Rancher to it.... not bad for the brew, just not purely indicative of style. Also, upon closer scrutiny, there is a hint of mayonnaise to the flavor/palate as well..... hmmmm. Not sure what byproduct that arrived from, and not totally unacceptable.... just processed. There is a soda quality finish and mouthfeel, lending more toward an artificial processed note to the beer. Overall, not terrible if a sour-sweet dessert brew appeals to you.

Bottle @ Hamburg Beer Festival: Blood red, very little head. Syrupy sweet berries in the nose. Similar cloying flavour. Unbalanced and artificial.

12oz bottle, corked and capped. Deep purplish ruby with light purple head. Nose of tart red raspberries and some sourness. Flavor is sweet-tart, almost like candy, though with a balanced sourness throughout. A bit too syruppy and one-dimensional, but not bad by any means.
