Purple, brown, and white layers of color in the swirling glass. Woody and raspberry, with a hint of cran-raspberry in the aroma. Only a titch of sourness, but struck me as a bit acidic. Long finish of raspberries. Slightly weak palate. Good, but I wouldn’t return to it as an example of the style.

Raspberries all around - in the nose and in the taste. Too sweet for me - lacked any sourness typical of lambics. Was more like syrup, cough medicine or Kool-Aid than a lambic. Full mouth, clean palette, OK balance.

For no suprise very intens raspberry taste and smell. Smells also sweet and like honey. Light red, nearly purble appearance. The raspberry flavor stays very long. Much to sweet for my tastebuds.

Though despised by my local purveyor of fine Belgians (24th St. in SF) as commercial swill, this lambic delivered an amazing experience one summer day in hot southern Oregon. There was a ’cheese’ on the cork and explosive aroma with extraordinary effervescence that bubbled raspberry all over the tongue -- tangy and sweet. It’s cloudy and rust-edged color and flocking were evidence of bottle fermentation. I wish I had written down the date of drinking and the date of bottling! This was an amazing lambic I returned to several times with varying degrees of success.

Almost no head, brownish purple body, smells of raspberries. Syrup-like overly thick mouthfeel, lots of fruit, not terribly sour, oak in the finish. I really didn’t like the mouthfeel of this one at all, but the flavors were alright.

This has to be the worst looking beer I’ve rated so far. Murky bruise purple brown with no head and black poppyseed deposit in sediment. Strong sweet raspberry with a hint of well used sock sour aroma. Thin fruit juice drink like palate. Yeasty sour start and light unripened raspberry flavour somewhat akin to light gueuze. Weak sour finish. I suspect this bottle may have been off? Needs a recheck.

it’s almost a fruity rose, when drunk cold. Wonderful realfruit flavour, which they use! Use it’s in dressings, sabayon’s and so on. It’s made with geuze but it’s well balanced in the sweet and sour tasting, and it has a very long aftertaste

I can’t see through the ’Purple Haze’, little purplish head and some lace. Ripe raspberry nose, sweet, the front exceedingly sweet, the top thin, the finish is sour chased by the sweetness, light acidity, but the best I’ve tasted from this brewery, I can at least drink this one.

it’s okay, but i know that it could be done better, so go for the boon, if you want a good rashberries beer.
