375mL bottle, capped and corked. Enjoyed from my CHAPEAU flute glass. Pour is like a White Merlot, dark red burgundy color. Aroma of tart raspberry juice, fresh raspberry jam, dried raspberry fruit leather. Lots of raspberry. Flavor of tart fruit, acid juice, some wheat malt. Finishes with a bold Lambic attic character, tastes like cork and cobwebs. Fruit and old wood, fantastic! Mild Carbonation. This is the best of all Chapeau bottles I’ve sampled. Simply Wonderful.

375ml Bottle: Sweet aroma of raspberry. Poured deep amber/magenta in color with a small, fizzy, white/magenta head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer. Cloudy. Sparkling. Many medium-sized particles throughout. Flavor is medium to heavily sweet. Tastes of raspberry. Medium body. Slick texture. Average carbonation. Raspberry finish is heavily sweet.

Bottle. Pours a brown tinged ruby color with a small scummy white head. Sickly sweet raspberry hits right away, smelling quite artificial and overly sweet. Some light funkiness and touches of acid behind this, but the sugar is over the top. Sweet like a soda, with some nice raspberry tang. Finishes still pretty sweet with more raspberry. Not the worst thing ever, and definitely like a raspberry soda with some sweet tarts thrown in. Drinkable and if it were a soda, pretty nice. As a lambic, a bit off the mark.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Sharp, bordering on sour. Very strong raspberry. Sharp acidic finish. Very nice.

Bottle. Aroma of raspberrymarmelade. Red colour with very small pink head. Sweet flavour of raspberries and cherries with only a slightly sour aplle finish.

375ml. Pours a rose pink/red with virtually no head. Aroma of sweet raspberries, dry cherries, and candy. Why the hell is there cherry in the aroma? Tastes like candy. No funk, very minimal tartness in the flavor. Sugary and fruity. Tastes like watered down fruit punch koolaid.
