3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Gorgeous beer...deep, cloudy, and thick blood red with pink head. Aromas are sweet raspberry juice..sweet raspberry flavours at first followed by a puckering sourness...not bad.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a clear ruby with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is medicine and berries. Thin mouth, cough syrup, light berry, not much going on.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle shared during RBWG. Pours dull pink with a creamy white head. The nose has some strawberry and raspberry purée. Sugary and lightly tart, with juicy raspberries. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with just a kick of acidity, more tangy raspberry. So so.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
375 ml bottle split. The beer is a hazy copper color with a white head of foam that dissipates quickly. The aroma has a lot of raspberry character to it, but there is a strong lack of acidity. The taste is sweet raspberry jam. All sweetness. Medium body and medium carbonation. Probably wouldn’t want this beer again.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: SEP 10, 2015 375mL bottle, pours a murky dark purple with a small purple-ish head. Aroma brings out very sweet raspberries, lots of pithiness, and a light artificial quality. Flavour is like juice, with loads of sweet raspberry juice and a touch of pithiness. A sweet wussy fruit beer that hurts the teeth after a while. Not a disaster, but not great.

[ Bottle ][ 1oz ][ Tasting ][ ? ][ Tulip ][ 05.31.15 ]
murky orange-red, oily white cap. Ultra sweet jammy nose reminiscent of Lindemans Framboise or NG raspberry tart without depth, lightly seedy. Sweeter flavor is all sugar, tons of raspberry and absolutely no acid. Refreshing, zesty carbonation, more a fruit beer than a sour.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a red color with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is tart raspberry. Flavor is on the sweeter side, but with a tart finish. Pretty good. I’m surprised by the low ratings, but my experience with lambics is very limited.
