Deep red, muddy body. Pinkish head, but instantly disappearing, good lacing. The sweet raspberry aroma is already noticeable without really sniffing. Very sweet (ligthly sour) flavour. Dito for the finish, but with the addition of some bitterness. This beer should be named "Lambic - Soda".

Pretty colour, tasted like a raspberry Lifesaver, which I loved! So clearly I enjoyed this beer. I think the oak casks did effect the taste, some extra nuance here. I liked it.

Deep red colour, with very little head, but maybe I didn’t pour it correctly. Instense raspberry aroma. Taste is sweet, a touch of stour, but not much, na more like candy than fruit. Like Lifesavers candy. Flavourful but not a spectacular lambic.

Bottle. Hazy red, small white head that settles quickly. Aroma of sour raspberries and lemon. Taste is more sour than sweet. Actually not bad.

Aroma is sweet raspberry syrup. Cloudy maroon, thin pink head. Flavvor is raspberries, big surprise, but significantly more tart than the aroma. Cranberries seem to be in the mix also. Finishes juicy sweet. Delicious, but not much to it.

Sampled from a bottle, this beer had a dark red pour (with some red rose color), the pour made a thin cover of large bubbles that moved to a partial cover and ring, it appeared there was little carbonation in this beer, I could not find any bubbles flowing in the glass, the beer left a little lacing as I drank, there were aromas of raspberry, raspberry sweetness and a little sourness on the nose, and a little wood and vegetable off-ness in this beer? Not sure what it was, oxidation maybe? I know I did not like it. flavors were raspberry and a little sweetness with a little off-ness at the finish of this drink from the same thing I mentioned in the smell of this beer, the finish was a little drying, mouth feel was so-so, I did not enjoy this beer, and I would not try again.

Pours a red color with no head. The taste is sweet, fruity with loads of rasberry flavors. Finshes slight sour and balanced. Light dry palate.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light red with a quick, small head. Sweet raspberry aroma. Flavor is sweet raspberry with a slight tartness. Overall ok. A little more tartness would make it a lot better.

This is the best of the Chapeau lambics I have tried. The beer pours a pinkish color with a white head. The aroma is full of tart raspberries with a little bit of sugar mixed in. The flavor is actually not too bad. It is a mix of sweet and sour raspberries, although the sugar is pretty artificial tasting. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

A light bodied brew pouring red with light pink head into glass with little bit of lacing. Smells of raspberries. Taste of tart raspberries. Good carbonation gives a nice tinge on the tongue.
