Got Stout? (173), Wisconsin, USA May 19, 2005 Well, some have called me crazy, but I swear to our Living God that this smells and tastes like mustard with a slight fruit spice. Not that I think that it’s bad, but unique.

Storng raspberry aroma. Sour, but not sour enough to cope with the syrup mixed in. Not my cup of tea! thewolf (3959), Kolding, Denmark Sep 21, 2008 Bottle, bought @ Haus der 131 Biere.<br />
Pours muddy deep red, small fizzy white-pink head. Settles as a thin film. Heavy fruity aroma, lots of raspberries. Some tartness. High carbonation, fair mouthfeel. Flavour is medium tart, quite good fruitiness and a subdued sweetness at the end. A very fruity lambic - and actually not that bad - compared to the other Chapeau offerings. Big raspberry aroma - real fruit, not artificial. Sharp puckering raspberry taste. Sweet finish. Very refreshing. One of the better framboises I’ve had (nothing can touch 3F of course), and definitely one of de Troch’s better brews. I’ve been looking for this sourness from de Troch for a long time - finally I’m rewarded! (And my next one was the Lemon...) larsga (2293), Oslo, Norway Sep 18, 2008 Small pink head. Deep red body with small particles. Strong raspberry juice aroma. Not a lot else. Sweetish yoghurty intense raspberry taste. Taste settles into the mouth. Very good! (0.25l bottle at Pegasus, Copenhagen.) IlanMan (571), Winona, Minnesota, USA Jul 26, 2008 Wow. much lower in alcohol than I expected. I thought this was a pretty good lambic. Perhaps I need to take a beer tasting tutorial. Flavor was up front sweet raspberry finishing strong with more raspberry. Very sweet and easy to drink. Heck, might buy again.
