heemer77 (4294), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jul 7, 2005 I like fruit lambics, but prefer a little more real fruit flavor. This more closely resembles candy in it’s aroma and taste. A light red with some brown coloring. A very thin white head on top. The aroma is cherry Life Savers. There is also a hint of perfume and some leather. The taste is cherry candy with some light notes of leather. Not much here, as this is very simple. If you love cherry candy, and low carbonation, this might be for you. dm9831 (1167), Monee, Illinois, USA Jul 4, 2005 strong cherry aroma. cloudy reddish/brown color. tastes like a soothing cough medicine, with a slight bubbliness. the cherreis, strangely enough, saved my opinion of this brew, and probably bumped its rating up slightly. this is not a style i typically enjoy. rederic (1787), montréal, Quebec, Canada Jun 29, 2005 Hazy deep red color, with no head, ery sweet nose of black cherries, with spicy nutmeg, chocolatey note and hint of marzipan cake, cinnamon, but still dominated by an artificial cherry aroma, follows through on a medium-bodied and very sweet cherry palate, the cherry sweetness is very omnipresent, any aspect of tartness, acidity from lambic. Finishes with a blast of sweet cherries, very easy to drink, more of the commercial side of it. Psylocke (91), st-constant, Quebec, Canada Jun 10, 2005 one of my best taste really good sour cherry and i must say that look pretty good too GonZoBeeR (2156), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada Jun 10, 2005 Aroma:kriek all the way.....

JPDIPSO (4865), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Jun 7, 2005 I have always overlooked this breweries brews, not sure why, maybe the labels always looked artificial, but the $1.5 bargain bin finally persuaded me to try some of these. One tough cork pull. Amber raspberry color (nearly rusty color) with a moderate light pink head. Apples and pears fermenting in a rusty bucket aromas. An old wooden spoon is being used to stir the mix. Sweet cough drops mingle with oak shavings. Light metallic feel. Not even worth the buck and a half. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jun 5, 2005 Updated: Jul 8, 2005From a 2000 bottle, this pours a pinkish-brown with the flimsiest of heads. The aroma is very cherry, pits, leaves, bark and all. It’s actually pretty tasty, a tart cherry flavor with some dark cherries underneath. The finish is sour and refreshing.

Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 4, 2005 (Bottle 25 cl) Darkisk red with no head to speak off. Sickingly sweet with pretty much none of the acidic, refreshing edges usually found even in commercial krieks. Add to this a tang of cork and you get a beer that has failed almost completely. 220297
