Aug 13, 2008 [1551-20080727] 250mL bottle. Jolly Rancher cherry aroma. Murky, bright dark red body with a quick light pink foam. Sweet cherry candy flavour. Light-medium body is bubbly. Nice beverage, not very beer-like.

Jul 31, 2008 2008-07-27. Lightly hazy ruby red body with a smallish pink head. (3+) Sweet cherry candy aroma. (6+) Similar cherry character up front in the flavour, sweet cherry, candyish, tart-sour notes in the finish are brief. Average palate. Decent enough as a sweet drink I suppose, but pretty poor as a lambic. Bottle from the LCBO

Jul 27, 2008 Well well I found this hiding in my fridge...it was old. really old and not good. tasted just like a sherry vinegar. I think it was too old to drink. But it had never left my fridge, so who knows. I wont kill it in the ratings becuase I assume it was skunked.

Jul 14, 2008 Bottle at Århus Ølfestival 2008. Pours a deep muddy red with a small pink head. Aroma and flavour of Cherry Gums, but not to sweet. Actually quite ok.

Jul 2, 2008 Bottle. Intense cherry aroma- pours mahogany / cherry red with a fluffy pink head. First sip is 100% all tart cherry, no beer flavor at all. Very unique, wasn’t expecting this, Not tasting oak or malt or hops. Taste is good, maybe a bit too sweet for me. Glad I tried it- hard to rate since it tasted more like a cherry 7-Up than a beer. But on a warm summer afternoon, look out- this will go down quickly.

Jun 28, 2008 Bottle (330ml). Deep, wine-like purple-red pour with a smallish pink head - 4/5 for the lush, deep colour. Rich cherry aroma - mingled sour and sweet, a little syrupy and messy, but what the hell. The taste is similar, a bit like a sour cherry cough drop, but for some reason this one appeals to me - thick, syrupy, modestly carbonated, with a long cherry finish - decent for Chapeau

Pours like a deep red koolaid, with a half decent cherry red head on it. It also smells like koolaid almost but with the lambic bitter/lactic acid smell. It tastes like the sweet cherry expected but has a lip puckering tartness to it. A pretty good lambic from chapeau but watch for the tartness!!
