It’s amazingly fruity, because they use real cherries, preferably drink it as cool as possible as an aperatief at a dinner party i will do very well, aslo useable for making parfait, sabayons etc. dhurtubise (568), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Aug 19, 2002 Updated: Jul 11, 2003This is probably the best sweet kriek lambic available outside of Tres Fontenen cafe in Beersel, Belgium. It has a tremendous, authentic cherry aroma and flavour, a light acidic/sour character and is extremely refreshing. It's carbonation is uncharacteristically low for a lambic based beer and produces little head, though it is long lasting. The beer is cloudy and has a deep brounish red colour. The authentic cherry flavour is the driving force of this beer. In this capacity it is as rich in cherry flavour as any other kriek i've sampled outside of Tres Fontenen. As far as commercially available sweet kriek lambic goes, this is about the biggest mouthful of cherries you can get for your money.. cheapdark (2016), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA

Beautiful creamy sibilation for carbonation. Swirling darker pinkish purple, unfiltered. Farmy barmy fruity flavor. Finish? What finish, confound it, it’s gone! hopscotch (5474), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Mar 26, 2007 Bottle... This beer rocks!... Murky ruby ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is of cherry pie filling and a touch of graham... reminiscent of the aroma of New Glarus’ Belgian Red. The flavor is far more sugary and far less pungent than that of traditional lambics. Sweet and fruity; tart and tangy. Medium-bodied and creamy with soft, tingly carbonation. Leaves a lingering, sweet, fruity taste in the mouth. I’ll go against the grain here as I thoroughly enjoyed this brew! There’s more than enough room within the world of beer for both traditional and sweetened lambics, such as this! thedm (3834), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 5, 2007 I didn’t note an overwhelming sweetness, so I guess this is the right place for this rating. This $5.79 bottled brew from a bottle shop in South Bend, IN poured a head of foamy pink hued medium sized bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a hazy with fine particulate pink hued colored body and a poor lacing. The strong aroma was cherry. The dry mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The smooth flavor contained notes of cherry. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again. benfergy (46), Valley City, North Dakota, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Feb 22, 2009 The appearance is, as expected, dark red. The aroma is like a very nice combination of wine and cherries. The taste is very good; the cherry flavor is strong, of course, while also having a sense of being a beer as well. It’s a very smooth beer as well. I really, really like this beer, and would recommend it to everyone. JaPe (69), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
