*Old rating. Best before 03/05/14. Nice lemon aroma, sourish-sweet, nice and fresh. The aftertaste is bit sweetish, but round and fresh. Nice refreshing!

Bottle shared by Theydon_Bois at the Hyatt lobby fart share on Tuesday evening - thanks so much, Cloin, for bringing these! They’re gems. This one pours a clear gold with a small white head that settles into a ring. Characteristically unattractive for this brewer. Aroma of lemon soda, which is more like sour lemon candy in the flavor, with lime, sugars, and soda water. Light-bodied, with low carbonation and a tart mouthfeel. Very much in line with the sub-par candy/cough drop house character of Chapeau.

Draft - Lemon cleaner. Clearish light gold with a small white head. Sweet lemon and tart finish. Much like a cocktail mixer.

Bottle shared during RBWG 2016 - thanks to Colin. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. Smells like citrus soda, with a bit of lightly rotten like. Light sweet flavor with sturdy acidity, tart lemon, some grass, moist wood. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly sharp acidity on the finish, more lemon, mild earthy funk. Just a little too much battery acid. So so.

Bottle shared at RBWG 2016. Thanks to cloin for this one. Clear dull yellow coloured pour with a fine white head. Aroma is sweet lemon, woody, ant acid tablet, 7up. Flavour is composed of sweet and sour tart lemon, very sweet, cif lemon, slightly pithy. Palate is sticky sweet. Meh.

Bottle at hotel lobby fart share @RBWG 2016. Clear golden liquid with medium white head. Aroma of lemon peel, 7UP, grain, sugar and lime.Taste is high sweet and very light sour with notes of grain, lemon and puke. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Uuugh. Very sweet and artificial.

Bottle at RBWG 2016. Aroma is offensive lemon garbage and piss. This is like a urinal cake. Deep orange, clear, minimal white head. Taste is a sugary sweet diabetic lemon head with a painful chest thumping acidity. Gross

Bottle split in the hotel lobby, RBWG ’16 no thanks to this Bois, 02/02/16. Golden blonde with a small off white covering that soon dissipates. Nose is sweet lemon jam, sugary lemon pancakes, light piss and fantastic grain. Taste comprises tarte lemon, light acidity, straw, Jif lemon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Hmmmm.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear gold lasting white head. Bleachy lemon aroma. Sour flavour in the mouth. Wow that’s quite lemon curd with a slash of sourness in the middle of it. I mean that’s completely caught me off guard. It’s properly sour. Don’t like the aroma, but the rest is lemony sweet and sour. Weirdly lovely.

Bottle from notes. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold color with a small to medium whitish, fizzy head. The aroma and flavor had tart sour lemon, citrus, some acidity, thinner, almost like old lemonade, not again.
