Pours clear golden with a low head. Aroma is lemons and some malts. A lot like sprite. Flavor is very acidic with some malts and lots of lemon. Surprisingly good.

11-FEB-2011, bottle @home, with Ulkløbben, from "Fish & Beer". Served blind with Chapeau Banana and Mikkeller Spontankriek. Very light in color with white head. Slightly sour lemon taste, but at the same time sickingly sweet. Is there really a need for a beer like this?

bottle at dak’s 7/29/10. rich golden... darker than i was expecting. the aroma and flavor remind me of the real lemon lemon juices everyone has in their fridge.... but fake. plasticine lemon and malty sweetness... ick, but oddly not completely terrible. intriguing why they would even make this. 4/3/4/3/10/2.4

Gold pour with a small fizzy head. Aroma and flavor of diet lemon lime soda. Weird.

Early amateur rating warning! Nice lemony beer. Was expecting acidy sharpness but it not so.

A: The pour is a light yellow color with a lively carbonation and a white head. S: Certainly lemon forward, but it’s got a definite Lemon Pledge (or whatever other lemon scented cleaner you prefer) thing going on. Syrupy and yet still somewhat tart, but I guess that’s a given with this being lemon flavored. T: Luckily, the flavor is a bit better and not quite as solventy and cleaner based. Quite sour like you expect from a lemon with a sort of lemon drop candy thing going on too. Some slightly bitter lemon rinds. M: The body is medium with a fairly aggressive level of carbonation. D: This is kind of all over the place. I liked the flavor a fair amount, but the nose is just really off-putting.
