Bottle, 25 cl. Clear golden-orange color, with a small, white disappearing head. Aroma: lemon, sweet, sour, citric. Light body. Taste begin with sourness, lemon, sweet. Not so bad, for an aperitif.

Pours clear amber with no head. The nose is lemon drops and lemon soda. The taste is pretty much the same. Way to candy-like and sweet. Yuck,

25cl from LCBO - Appearance: light orange with a tiny white head, loads of thick floaties. Aroma: Sour, like tequila and lemon, somewhat ’cornflake’ like aroma in there too with yeast. Flavour: Sour lemon, literally like a glass of lemon juice. Took my breath away, it’s just so lemony! Interesting and certainly worth the $1.90.

More sugar per ounce that regular pepsi, and fake fresh lemon juice (from the plastic squeeze lemon). What’s not to like? And NOTHING WHATEVER to do with beer.

Amber colored beer with brutal big pieces of sediment floating in the body- disgusting... No head - perhaps a superminimal lacing white one. Odd aroma of a detergent, minimal beer character. Thanks to my courage i’ve tasted it in contempt of sediment. It was terrible, acidic and it was not a consumable one. Brutal bad one, one of my worst beer in my life..

Massive chunks of yeast suspended in a gold liquid that smells like moldy lemons. This is starting off well. Insert dripping sarcasm smiley here. THe flavor is well, sweet and lemony. This is what cellared lemonade must taste like. There is some mustiness behind the massive sour and sweet front. Puckering but sweet. Very bizarre, though not hideous.

Bottle- Pours a clear gold liquid, with an average white foamy cap. The aroma is funky yeast with lemon zest, wet hay, and a metallic note. Contrary to what I was expecting, this is not a sugary cloying mess. The flavour profile is a smack of tart lemons and funky brett like flavours, with a bit of balancing sugar. Like real lemon juice and funky lambic. This is actually pretty good. The finish is quite tart and very astringent. I wouldn’t be able to drink a lot of these, but this is certainly an enjoyable summer beer.

Liquid evil, meet glass. Glass, meet liquid evil. Golden copper with unpleasant chunkiness. Huge whiff of musty, rotting lemons in the nose. Truly awful flavor, sickening explosion of lemon and sour, plus sweetness and a crappy undertone of musty lambic-ness. Nasty cloying stuff, sweet and syrupy. This beer does for lambics what proctology does for fine French cuisine.
