Pale gold hazy with no head. Mostly sweet but some sour gueuze like, peach and plum aromas. Light sour start with flat sweet generic fruit juice drink flavours and soft sweet finish. There’s simply not enough oomph in this beer for my tastes. Only beaten out by the disgusting lemon as poorest of all the Chapeaus I’ve tried so far.

Extremely sweet with cloying flavour over prunes.

I actually liked this one better than the rest of the de Troch lambics. Something about the mirabelle plum aroma and flavor mixed well with the lambic tartness.

Sweet yeasty floral aroma -- almost like pie. Very sweet, effervescent and yeasty body with a bit of bitterness. A bit too sweet but otherwise nice.
