Clear yellow pour with no head. Tons of yeast chunks in suspension. The nose is must, corky, and nectary with cloying sweetness. The flavor is much the same with sweet peach and apricot nectar finishing with white grape juice. Funk profile is minimal to non existent. The palate is watery and sugary with a sticky finish.

Orange cream pour. Sweet candy nose. Taste is exactly like a candied plum. If that appeals to you, then you’ll love it. If it doesn’t, you’ll hate it. There’s no middle ground with this beer.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 j12601 (4171) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAR 19, 2010
Bottle. In spite of my best efforts of pouring, and having it sit upright in the fridge for a week prior to even pouring this still poured a few pieces of cardboard like looking nastiness into my glass along with a number of small floating bits. Aside from that, pours a relatively clear orange tinged amber, still, no head. Old plum wine aromas, slight vinegar, oxidized apples. Oh my. Cloyingly sweet. Combined with the lack of carbonation, this tastes pretty much like a flat sprite. Not much sour stuff going on here, finishes with a very light tang, and more sugar. I don’t really like soda, I dislike flat soda even more, and beer that tastes like flat soda… not a fan of that either.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Swalden28 (2541) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JAN 21, 2010
Bottle. Pours a somewhat hazy gold with fast fading white head. Aroma of plumb, faint barnyard. Flavor is the same and sweet. Mouth feel is light-medium body with medium carbonation. This isn’t as fizzy as a few I have had from them but it tasted decent.
