3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Pinball (9656) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 28, 2013
25cl bottle at home
cloudy orange, smooth offwhite head.
aroma is slightly bitter, citrussy, faint sweet sort of flowery note like honey.
flavor is quite sour and citryssy, with an added exotic fruity note , mirabelle can be tasted actually, and it’s not cloying as I had feared. quite nice taste, although somehow comes through as a little artificial. The lambic tartness shows a little in the aftertaste, making it quite complex .
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Bamsen78 (819) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 26, 2013
Bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden with airy white head. Clear fruity aroma, most likely one of apples, with some vinous touches. Sweet, cheap fruity onset, violently replaced by a very vinous body, which never seems to disappear. Quite unbalanced but definitely drinkable.

Aftertaste of sweet mango, peach and abricot, jam/marmalade sweetness, creamy, nice.

Bit like a sweet peach lemon cake. I like it.
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Lemke10 (538) - Janesville, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 22, 2013
This pours a murky amber color with a strong scent of plums. The taste is kind of over the top sweet from sugars mixed with the sweetness of the fruit. It doesn’t drink much like a beer at all; it’s more like a grape juice as alcohol is non-existent. An interesting find, but not something I would buy again.

Cerveza rubia cristalina. Con muchas burbujas. Olor ácido y sabor demasiado dulce, no me sabe natural.

Dentro de las cervezas afrutadas, es bastante buena, tiene el toque de acidez justo. Buena cerveza para tomarla a modo de refresco.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Huhzubendah (1979) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 6, 2012
Bottle shared by jayhawk73. Thanks, Jeff, I am always excited to try a new lambic.
The beer is transparent and light peach hued, with virtually no head or lacing. The aroma offers peaches, peach cobbler, sugar. Smells like peach cobbler dessert. While the smell is inviting, it smells more like something I would want to eat, rather than drink. The taste is sugary sweet. Loads of peaches coated in sugar. While this is a bit too sweet for my palate, it seems well suited as a dessert beer, perhaps with a fruit tart. The peach flavor is actually quite delicious, but would greatly benefit from some funk, must, yeast, etc. One dimensional in nature, this has potential. For now, it’s a sweet fruit beer that is best in small doses.
