The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is very strong on the peaches. There may be a little bit of funk hidden in the background, but it is stomped on by the sweet peaches. The flavor is more of the same. The beer tastes like the syrup that you get with canned peaches. It is way too sweet and hard to drink. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. This was the worst of the three Chapeau beers we had recently, with the other two being the Kriek and the Banana.

A: The pour is a dark golden-orange color with a few haphazard bubbles popping up.
S: The nose is uninspiring if nothing else. Not really much, if any, peach aroma, but plenty of cork and an earthy, mushroom mustiness.
T: Like on the nose, there is a lot of just moldy, musty, earthy character to this beer that is not at all pleasing or enjoyable. Rotting peaches and sugary sweet with hardly any acidity or any bright spots at all.
M: The body is light to medium with a limp sort of carbonation that does not do this beer any favors.
D: This was pretty bad, even by Chapeau standards. No thanks.

I needed a break from beer and this was a great way to sort of change it up. It’s obviously very fruity and actually a pretty good thirst quencher. Would get again if I needed to change it up from beer.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 zeek (129) - British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 8, 2010
Aroma is a bit acidic like, pours a golden orange with no head. Taste is extremely fruit-like, perhaps a bit too much like fruit juice. Mouthfeel is clean, and finishes sweet.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 mcberko (2195) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 31, 2010
Bottle, pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Sourness, peaches and yeast on the nose. Flavour is extremely sweet with none of the sourness that the aroma suggests - not balanced too well, but still mildly enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours golden yellow with a white head. Peachy tart aroma with a funky hint. Sweet peach candy-like flavor with a hint of tartness. Decent.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Fratto (1814) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUL 8, 2010
Bottle from the Arlington Whole Foods. Clear orange-yellow pour with a fizzy white head. Aroma is peaches, yeast, and sweetener. Taste is very tart, yeast funk, peach, dry, and Welch’s White Grape Juice.
