Bottle from Whole Foods thanks to Fratto. Orange color, bubbly head with lots of floating sediment. Aroma is dry and sweet, fruity and dusty. Reminds me of champagne. Taste is very sweet, peachy fruit, that provides for a mouth pucker. Slightly refreshing.

Bottle. Pours with a small fading white head over a hazy golden body. Aroma of musty peach and apricot, rotten fruit, wax and cloyingly sweet. Taste is CLOYING!!! Super sweet, teeth rot, rotten fruit, urine. Lively bubbles.

Bottle, 3.5%. Sweet, fruity, sugary aroma, acidic also. The flavour is more or less the same, except insanely sweet. Also quite oxidised even though it is not past BB date.

ChainGangGuy (3682) - Canton, Georgia, USA - JAN 28, 2010
Appearance: Pours out a an orange-gold body with a smattering of scattered, distraught bubbles. Smell: Smells of the corpse of somebody who died from drinking far too much peach schnapps. Not a bad way to go, really. Taste: Jarringly sweet from the get-go and with a jolt of peach flavoring. Plenty of moldy, musty, rotted wood. Far, far too much sugar dumped into a poor lambic. Unclemattie asked if I was crying afterwards. I definitely choked up when he asked that. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Trust me, there are plenty of other far better lambics out there today. This, however, is an undrinkable mess. Why do I continue to engage in this ridiculousness?

375ml, capped and corked. Golden color, syrupy pour. Aroma of peach nectar. Flavor is a tart fruit character. Much more lambic than some other Chapeaus I’ve had. Tastes more like pineapple than any other fruit.
