The aroma on this is incredible. Peaches defintiely -- but more like a peach candy than a real peach I suspect syrup but that is fine in the aroma -- lots of oakiness and tobacco in the nose. The appearance is a little less than desirable due to the huge clods of yeast, minus that the color is good. Oh yeah the peach syrup is there an a little overly sweet, but it really is too bad because I think that the base brew might be rather good. All that said, Ithink this is very drinkable and was pleasantly suprised.

250ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Nice lacing. Light ripe peach aromas. Taste is sweet, more peach, quite a lot going on compared to the others! Not bad.

25cl bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - cloudy yellow-orange, some head which disappears quite quickly. Nose - fusty ripe peach, like it’s starting to rot. Taste - honey and overripe peach even lemon curd. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a sweet cloying finish. Overall - it is in some ways a bit more interesting than the others.

Sugary peach juice feel to this lambic. Sugary, yeasty. Almost like a nectar feel to this beer. Could not see myself drinking more than a small pour of this. Sticky sweetness here on the front end.

Clear gold pour with thin ring of white foam. Aroma is soapy and bad, vegetal notes, peach aroma is quite rotten, fruit basket gone bad. Taste is solventy, lots of acetone, rotten fruit, lingering vegetal/garbage-y finish. Give me a timmermans sweetened fruit lambic any day of the week over this crap.

Bottle (250 ml). Shared by JulienHuxley, thanks! Clear bright straw color with a small ring of white foam and little lacing. Unfortunately, there’s not much peaches in the aroma... it’s more of a corn syrup with sugary notes and hints of lemon. Taste is not peachy either. Too sugary, no acidity, maybe light wood and hints of lemon. Light body. Watery. Low carbonation, almost flat. Sirupy. Fortunately, it’s the last fruited Chapeau we have tonight (I know, we don’t have the elusive Chapeau Abricot) because I’m starting to have a hard time describing them. Another poor attempt at a sweetnened fruit lambic.

Clear yellow with a thin white head. Fruity, tart lemon aroma. No peach anywhere. The flavor is lightly tart, fruity, no real Lambic sourness. Effervescent, and refreshing. Like an Imperial Wit.

250ml Bottle. It pours a amber body with no head - just a minimal lacing. Its aroma is a bit weird - very earthy and a little funky with no hint of peaches at all. Its taste is typical lambic sourness with the acidic sweetness you’d expect from a fruit beer. Like another reviewer said Im not sure I would have gotten peach from this in a blind test (in fact Ive had more peach tasting non-fruit beers!) Saying that its not a bad fruit beer.

Flasche. - Orangegelb, ohne Schaum.
