37.5 cL bottle, Kerstbierfestival 2007 in Essen/Belgium as Chapeau winter geueze 5.5%. Pours hazzlenut brown with a lacing off-white head. Berry fruity aroma with notes of malt and slight note of liqourice. Flavour is sweet malty, caramel with a classic geueze towards faro like note. Finish is sweet with a solid malt base lingering. Nice yet simple.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled - had as Winter Gueuze at 5.5% ABV. Unclear dark amber beer with a rim of beige head. The aroma is very spicy, as well as very light notes of bret, and some spices. Very weird flavor - very sweet, very spicy, cinnamon, leading a dry spicy finish.

Angry fist of Santa tasting at Chris_o’s. Sweetish fruit aroma. Clear amber, thin white head. Very fruity. It’s like a strawberry/cherry fruit drink. Fruit syrup.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle,37.5cl, from trade with jbrus. (as Winter Gueuze) A hazy, orange beer with an off-white head. Cellar and cork on the nose, some raspberry too, and sour, citric notes. Quite sweet flavor, tending towards faro, with cellar, cork, raspberry and citric notes. Flat, almost sticky sweet mouthfeel. Lasting finish. In a strange way I really liked this one, even though it’s far from hardcore gueuze. Lacks on a lot, but still very nice. (081031)
