Très bonne surprise .. cette biere peut rivaliser avec les bières belges (chouffe, queue de charrue .. )

On tap @ les Trois 8, Paris - FR - Color: hazy blond beer with no carbonation and small white foam. Smell: wheat malt and grassy domination. Taste: nice grassy taste destroyed by a metallic taste. :(. Aftertaste: nice grassy taste and small bitterness.

33cl bottle from a friend. It poured a golden colour with a minimal white head. Some carbonation. Aroma is farmhouse, grass, malts, wheat and hints of yeast. Flavour is lightly bitter. Bread, wheat, yeast, citrus, apple. Some metallic notes. Short aftertaste. Served a bit too warm.

330 mL bottle. Looks kinda like a wit. With not much head. Taste is wheat (?) and yeast. A little sweet. Quite pleasant and drinkable. A little grainy. I’d haver another.

Bottle. [thanks Feldthaus]
Pours hazy yellow with a medium, creamy white head. Aroma has malts, light citrus, somewhat grainy and a bit of yeast. Highish carbonation, okay and slightly grainy mouthfeel. Flavour has lemons, sweet malts, a slight hint of metal, apple, some watery notes. Fine, if a bit boring.

[750ml bottle] Pours a pretty hazy golden yellow, large white puffy head. Aroma is farily yeast-forward, some barnyard funk (the red we had from the same gift pack was infected), hay, slight orange citrus. On the flavour, tastes like you’d expect from a biere de garde – more of that hazy, musty yeast element, mixed with grassy, almost herbal hops. Quite refreshing, all told [30122012]

Countbeer (4425) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - DEC 17, 2012
Bottle: Label says 5% alc. Medium creamy white head changes into a thicker closed lacing on top of a light cloudy yellow colored beer. Smell is a watery and thin mix of soap, citrus, light hint of something glue ish, cactus, wheat, hint of malts, vanilla. Mostly a strange mix of soap, wheat and malts. Taste wheat, meat, iron, floral, some hops, grass, hint of earth, malts, light to medium bitter, some bitter floral hop notes and some yeast and grass. Aftertaste is wheat with malts, light bitter, hint of meat, floral and grassy. Low to medium carbo, soft creamy light blown mouthfeel, medium unbalanced body and a creamy texture. This one is very unbalanced, not good, while the Printemps beer is way better.

(33 cl bottle from bottleshop in Bayeux) Pours a cloudy amber with medium, white head. Good retention and lace. Aroma is barn, straw, malty with some tart notes. Oily texture, lively carbonation, light body and a slightly dry and sour finish. Typical bière de garde flavour although a bit subdued: Yeast-dominated with only a dry hint of hops and not much body in this case.

Bottle from La Caves a Bulles. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are yeast, fruits, malt and hops.

Bottled (as Fermière Normandie Blonde, 5.0%). Lightly hazy golden, small head. Floral hay aroma. Dryish and freshly hoppy with light-medium body. Lots of fresh hay-like hops, mid bitter finish. Pleasant and nicely drinkable.
