wyzzywyz22 (387), Wirral, Merseyside, England Aug 29, 2008 Bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. Poured a reddy nut brown colour with a decent creamy beige head. Aroma had dark fruit, coriander, sweet malt and caramel. The flavour was sweetish with malt, raisin, and a light bitter hop finish. Not too bad. mjs (580), Helsinki, Finland Aug 23, 2008 (Bottle, BBE 07/11/07, at Pikkulintu) Dark reddish brown. Clear. Small bubbly white head thas didn’t last long. Slightly sour nose with fruity and malty aromas. Malts, raisin, small amount of liquorice and light bitterness in taste. Quíte ok. Borresteijn (584), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 10, 2008 On tap @ Café Gollem. Deep reddish amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, fruits. Flavour is sweet, malts, caramel, fruits and iron. Too much "amber" flavours in there for me. Grovlam (3201), Copenhagen, Denmark Jul 21, 2008 Bottle. Average light beige creamy head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Color was amber – copper like with some cloudiness. Aroma of caramelized and toasted malt, hint of iron and nice sweet fruity feel. Hint of spice and what could appear as honey. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and mild alcoholic texture. Moderated sweet flavor. Light roasted malty lingering caramel finish. plovmand (676), Helsinge, Denmark Jul 21, 2008 On tap. Pours amber with a medium white head. Very fruity aroma with caramel. Flavour is quite spicy and fruity with a good long malty aftertaste.
