Pours dark red as the name suggests. Small white head. Nose has bananas and carmel, some other dark fruits as well as ginger. However, the nose is not strong. It was faint even as it warmed. Taste is sweet. Candied fruits, like plums and raisins, dates. Very small almost unnoticed bitterness on the finish. Mothfeel is medium bodied, with some crisp fizziness.

Beautiful very dark red brown beer with red highlights, transparent with no carbonation and a weak head. Rather sweet cherry smell. Dry and lightly citric. Iron and black currant taste, somewhat like medicine. With a nice balance of watery bitterness. Dry finish.
