33 cL bottle, comes as Charles Quint / Keizer Karel. Pours golden and clear amber with a lacing off-white head. Light yeasty and malty aroma. Flavour is almost wineous malty with a nice overripe fruit note. Ends with a mild fruity flavoured malt base.

Bottiglia da 33cl a Napoli; schiuma beige non molto consistente, colore rosso/ambrato; aroma flebile piuttosto dolce, sapore ancora dolce però con una buona presenza alcolica e un po’ di metallo (neanche poco). Discreta.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2016 Draught at The magic Ruben, Brussel, Belgium. Deep copper, medium beige head. Nutty, caramelly, decent mouthfeel, dry finish and slightly metallic. 6/4/6/3/12->3.1
Second rating:
Draught at a Café in Buillon, Belgium. Same as about, but I didn’t catch the metallic notes this time. 8/5/8/5/16->4.2 is perhaps due to the fact that I drank it after having finished a six says hiking across the Ardennes. Final rating somewhere in between.

Bottle, 8.5%. Aroma of dark malts, a hint of soy. Clear dark brown colour. Nice and big, stable, lacy tan head. The flavour is malty and yeasty with a vegetable note that reminds me of Leffe. The alcohol is noticeable in the flavour, OK level, and slightly warming. The beer is a bit rough and unpolished, but OK.

My bottle says 8.5% alc. Very dark red colour, thin créme head, full warm one with lots of body, fruits,.....but most brewers only need the 3 a 4 ingredients,..thise one contains 7 ingredients (incl, acid) ...to much.

Draught at ØLbaren. Clear red/brown - white head. High sweetness, berries, fruity, syrup, brown sugar, yeasty. Boring.

Bottle. The smell of oranges and yeast. Red body, a little off-white head, which disappears nearly fully. It startet a little bit bitter and endet sour, medium duration. The body is between light and medium, dry and with some carbonation.

Fad. Ekstrem flot skumkrone på en mørk ravfarvet øl. Klar og filtreret udmærket maltbase, men bare ikke så meget mere, hvilket er en skam når man har 9% at lege med.

Bottle. Not much aroma. Don’t (!!!!) pour the yeast in unless you like the taste of vodka mixed with beer. Raisin aroma. A bit raisiny colour as well. Taste a bit too much of alcohol, but some maltyness and watermelon slips through.

330ml bottle, shared by Tranquillity. Very dark red, healthy tight head. Caramel sweet aroma. Sweet malty caramel taste, smooth and spicy. Slight yeasty taste, and more yeast makes it more astringent in the mouth and feel more alcoholic. Creamy and fruity - melon and some apple - and the alcohol is mostly well hidden. Not much finish, alas.
