Copenhagen 12/7 2015. 75 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. Does not match the database perfectly as the alcohol percentage is noted as 8,5 % on the label and 9 % in the database. Nice picture of Keizer Karel on the label to give it some royal atmosphere. Pours dark reddish brown with off-white head. Settles as fat creamy layer of foam. Lots of lacing. Aroma is a little sharp. Some coffee and metallic notes of alcohol. Medium carbonation. Taste is sweet and of fermented fruit. Boozy aftertaste with some yeast and a little sourness. Decent but not unforgettable sweet Belgian.

2 dedos de espuma no muy consistente. Color coca-cola. Aroma afrutado, cereza.

Dark Beer ? Estilo belga Strong ?.

Robijnrood bier zonder schuim. Smaak is zoet en fruitig, caramel, abrikoos en anijs. Erg goed bier, smaak blijft redelijk lang hangen. Volgens etiket heeft dit bier 8.5%.

Bright red / brown beer with a white head, medium carbonation. Tastes like malt, caramel, fresh fruit, raisins and some bitterness. Slightly bitter aftertaste, alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle from Kumiyama AEON Mall liquor shop. Dark fruit nose, medicinal herbs, spice, and grain. Reddish amber color, thin head, and slow-slipping lace. Sweet malty initial, rich caramel, and a wine-like note in mid palate. Alc. is quite apparent. Medium body. Good balance, overall. Very nice nose; flavors are not as impressive.

It looks very nice, a nice dark red-brown color with a beige head. Aroma of candy sugar and plums, with a vinous touch. Taste of plums, malts and coffee, again with a vinous accent. Not much in the aftertaste. Very decent beer.

Oct 13, 2006 On tap at Gollem. Red coloured. Nice foamy head. Tasty but quite bitter. It could be much better, really. Very strong kick afterwards - probably due to the 9 percent...
