Poured a reddish brown with a thick off white head. Aroma of rich berry fruits. Medium creamy body, flavour of sweet fruit with some caramel.

Oct 13, 2006 On tap at Gollem. Red coloured. Nice foamy head. Tasty but quite bitter. It could be much better, really. Very strong kick afterwards - probably due to the 9 percent...

(Rating #6257)

I didn’t really like it. It was too strong, and had no nice flavor, although it looked really good.

330ml bottle. Deep mahogany color. Tiny size, beige head, stays. OMG raisins, plums, sweet, mellow caramel, malty notes in aroma. Lovely aroma. Caramel, raisins, prunes, sweet, malty taste. Soft fizzy carbonation. Long lasting burnt caramel and mildly roasted malts in aftertaste. Alcohol is very well hidden. Delicious brew!

Strong head, beige. The aroma of sweet, malty, roasted plum, raspberry and a minimum of alcohol. The taste is slightly bitter, like aroma feel prunes, fried. After heating the bitterness is stronger, as well as alcohol. This is a minus, because it destroys the pleasure of tasting. At the end it’s just alcohol, too bad.

Brown-ruby pour, frothy lasting head. Tastes a bit like raspberry cordial - sweet and a little artificial. Some flaky sediment. This was okay, not bad, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

Bready and some what caramelly aroma. The taste is similar but with raisins too. Dry and slightly bitter finish. Decent but more flavours and complexity would have been appreciated.

Approvata.
