Bottle at Académie De La Bière. Dark golden color with a slight white head. Strong yeast spice aroma. Full bodied with mild carbonation. Rather dry though malt is at the finish. Flavor is light spice and fruit over light malt, but there’s lots of it.

Clear, but sedimented light golden. The small white head performs a jolly trick of white lacing after each sip. Slightly sour, bready yeastiness encompasses a biscuity pale maltiness that immediately reminds of honey. Fair alcohol presence, while not quite annoying, would require a bit more backbone in the mouthfeel department to be a part of an integrated whole. Rather easy-going, but not particularly deep. A soft estery fruitiness feels a bit perfumey, but fortunately not too sweet. Timid yeast character and absent hops. Metallic, relatively short finish with a final zip of alcohol. Fairly average compared to its siblings.

Bright golden colour, thin lacy head. Light fruity aroma. Flavour is quite dry at first. Finish is much more fruity and juicy.

Pours a clear golden color with a nice white head. The aroma are of sweet malts. The flavors are a good balance of honey vanila and malts. A very nice and pleasant beer that I will want more.

Bottled, 330ml from Marche de Natalie, Bouillon, Belgium. Gold with white head. For such a high alcohol beer, this doesn’t show it at all, light thinnish malty beer, quite sweet, cane sugar with hints of citrus. Moves towards a more honeyed body on warming, but still no signs of a big bber. Easy drinking, but not too exciting.
