3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottled) Slightly hazy golden with a smallish, but tight and cloudy head with some lace. Aroma of sweetish, pale malts and pear. Pear-honey-sweetish-malty flavor with moderate acidity and some alcohol. Medium-bodied, a bit acidic and alcoholic palate with soft carbonation. A quite smooth and honey-fruity strong ale - but a bit too acidic, and not very interesting.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2009 Hazy light orange body. Sweet tropical fruit aroma with coriander and other spice notes. Nice flavour of yeast, malt and some berries, that ends in a nice sweet and little bitter at the end.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUN 17, 2011 Bottle (33 cl) at Kulminator, Antwerp, Belgium. Pale golden with a medium white head. Honeyish malt aroma with spicy yeast notes. Light to medium bodied and smooth. Nicely balanced. 6/3/7/3/12->3.1.
Draught at a café in Bouillon, Belgium. Same tasting notes, but a bit higher rating, probably because I had been hiking for six hours: 8/3/8/4/15->3.8. Final rating an average.

2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A very lite colored yellow beer, very clear and sparkling. A white head, which doesn’t stay for long. It’s looks and tastes like a pilsner. Not even a good one. Not mine cup of tea (beer).

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a nice hazy deep golden colour with a good well lasting creamy white head. Lots of fruits and malt in the aroma along with yeast, some spices and some hops. Good filling mouthfeel. Very nice flavour with a good sweetness, yeast, fruits, hops, some spices and surprisingly wheat too. Sweetishfruity, yeasty and bit bitter finish. Great brew.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
[Bottle bought in La Roche.] A strong blonde with weak triple notes makes this brew better than average blondes. Powerful aroma followed by a flavor with notes of fruits, caramel, weak but good alcohol, spices, yeast, citrus, fullbodied and a nice finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, shared by papsoe. Clear, a bit pale, yellowish body, topped by a white head. Fruity nose with tea, citrus and pale malt. Fruity flavor as well, quite citrusy, with some yeast and pale malt and a good bitterness., especially towards the finish. Medium body. Quite bitter finish with some wheat-like flavors. It took me some time to decide if I liked it or not, but ended up deciding I like it. Quite classic, still strange in a way. (071006)

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear yellow with a white creamy head & lacings. Fruity sweet aroma, quite fresh. Dry metallic taste. The taste is not pleasant in any way like the amber version!
