Bottled. A hazy light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a boring fruit note. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of citrus, leading to a dry wheaty finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

(Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy golden with a dense, creamy, off-white head leaving a neat lacework. Spicy aroma with some yeast. Full-bodied with lightly sweet fruit notes, a solid malt base again with a spicy edge - perhaps a whiff of ginger - and a distinct yeastiness. Dry and very bitter finish. Very classical Belgian. 061007

Bottled. Pale yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Yeast, strawberries, sweet fruits, caramel and some malts in aroma. Flavour is yeasty, spicy, slightly fruity and caramelly. Also has alcohol sticking quite much. Hayish dry palate. Strong yeasty and earthy aftertaste.

Bottled, thanks WIm and Els! Clear golden, creamy head. Sweet and creamy with medium body. Plenty of marzipan and iron, slight resiny bitterness. Easy going strong ale with good drinkability and some levels oif complexity.

Bottle, shared by papsoe. Clear, a bit pale, yellowish body, topped by a white head. Fruity nose with tea, citrus and pale malt. Fruity flavor as well, quite citrusy, with some yeast and pale malt and a good bitterness., especially towards the finish. Medium body. Quite bitter finish with some wheat-like flavors. It took me some time to decide if I liked it or not, but ended up deciding I like it. Quite classic, still strange in a way. (071006)
