Brewed as something of an "imperial" version of the popular "1919," Brown Paper Bag is craft beer’s answer to the swill offered in 40 ounce servings by the industrial brewers. German Pilsner malt and flaked maize provide a flavor profile that alternates between crackers and freshly prepared popcorn, all wrapped into a package that may not be in a giant glass bottle, but is dangerously drinkable, nonetheless.

Tap. Thin white head, clear light gold. Kinda sweet corn aroma and buttery popcorn in both aroma and flavor. Candy sweetness, cotton candy in particular. Lighter to medium cottony body. There’s a trend here. Funny brew

Half pint at the brewpub. Pours clear golden with medium white head. Aroma is slightly fruity malt, low/medium carbonation, light/medium body, and little lacing. Taste is slightly fruity malt with a hint of alcohol. Pretty easy to drink, but one-dimensional & a little plain.
