vyvvy (4133) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - AUG 24, 2012
Sampled at the Midwest Belgian Beer Fest 2012 - Pours lightly hazy yellow with a white head. The aroma has sourness, citrus, floral aspects and minor toasted malt. It has a medium / light body with lots of semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with lots of sour fruitiness (apples, citrus, apricots) and spiciness. The finish is fruity, floral and sour. Really well done and like this version a lot more than the other version of "dozen".

Sample from beerfest. Poured a hazy cloudy yellow color with a tiny off white head. Head was gone rather quick. Did leave some minimal lacing behind. Aroma was big floral notes with some citrus and grass. Flavor wad soapy, floral and lemon notes. Medium body. Spicy finish. Decent bit not great beer.

Sampled at the Midwest Belgian Beer Fest. Floral, malty, herbal, grassy flavors. Interesting, flowery take on a saison. But not really my thing.

phaleslu (6811) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 30, 2012
Draft sample at MWBBF. Pours a cloudy gold with a small white head. The aroma has huge floral, herbal, grassy, and even vegetal notes, like a fresh garden, with pale malts and semi-tart lemon citrus. Flavor of lemon, grape, herbs, veggies, straw, and a bit of earthy funk. Light-medium bodied, with a tart, earthy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Really unique saison.
