On tap. Black pour with tan head. Nose of m&ms..its alllll chocolate. Smells like milk chocolate but tastes like dark chocolate. A bit thin bodied but a nice finish of lingering bitter chocolate.

22 oz bottle shared with the group in December 2012. Pours a slightly hazy brown color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma and flavor had sweet caramel, toffee, some milk chocolate, dark fruits especially on the flavor, Belgian candi sugar. I thought this was sweet, but very good in my opinion.

650ml brown bottle - bottleshare at Ferris’. Deep borwn pour, thin swirl of beige head on top. Chocolate and cocoa nose, chocolate cake. Taste has a lot of chocolate and a bit of cherry and a dash of sour milk. Dry finish. Seemed a bit thin. Overall I wasn’t a big fan.

Bottle - Chocolate and a light sweetness. Dark brown with a thin beige head. Chocolate and light sour sweetness from the yeast. Very odd for quad but still kinda nice.

Had this at a share; pours a nice dark black like oil with tan head. Dark fruits, chocolate, and some yeast on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes sweet.

Pours a dark, opaque brown with a thin tan head. Aroma is slightly sweet with a bit of a chocolatey note. Taste is ok, remember it being better on tap. Taste to me has very little chocolate and more dark fruit.

(bottle - 22 oz) Dark brown pour with a thick tan head. Cocoa powder and milk chocolate in the aroma. Some light burnt sugar. Rich chocolatey flavor at the start with a smooth and creamy middle and a sweet finish. Was surprised that it was a quad and not a stout.

Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours very dark brown with a transient beige head. Aroma is very light chocolate. A little something I can’t identify. Med body, maybe less. Flavor is definitely chocolate - but not like a stout or porter. Subsidiary fruity esters - could be some pinapple. It cries out for plums or cherries or dark red grapes.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Taste chocolate, sweet, dark fruit. I thought this was good. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate, spicy yeast, dark fruits, some dark and caramel malts, and light bitter notes. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Average texture. A pretty good quad.
