Shared bottle atDLD, thanKs guy.... Woody dark fruit, cherry, and strong alcohol aroma. Hazy brown with a small beige head. Earthy, tart dark fruit, cherry, and big alcohol... almost brand-like flavor. Medium body. Goodness.

22oz bottle pours an opaque, mahogany brown with some creamy, white head. Nose is straight chocolate, brewers licorice, some rye malt maybe, Hershey’s syrup. Flavor is 100% milk chocolate, light vanilla, Hershey syrup, dark chocolate, some crystal malt. Full bodied, chocolatey finish. Delivers exactly what it promises.

This nicely labeled 22oz bottle even looks like a fancy box of chocolates. Poured a dark brown color with a small, tan head. Aroma was heavy on the sweet milk chocolate variety, with some cocoa, and a touch of roasted malty notes. Flavor was quite enjoyable - I am particularly reminded of a canned chocolate soda that I used to drink as a kid and haven’t probably had in 20 years, but if this didn’t remind me of that one in the flavor and palate. Quite nice.

22oz bottle shared by Andy at zach & Matt’s tasting. Pours brownish black with a medium tan head. Aroma is roasty with a strong salted caramel profile. Wow. Taste is totally fudgey chocolate with a sweet and salty edge. Really interesting and an enjoyable beer.

Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours very dark brown with a transient beige head. Aroma is very light chocolate. A little something I can’t identify. Med body, maybe less. Flavor is definitely chocolate - but not like a stout or porter. Subsidiary fruity esters - could be some pinapple. It cries out for plums or cherries or dark red grapes.

(bottle - 22 oz) Dark brown pour with a thick tan head. Cocoa powder and milk chocolate in the aroma. Some light burnt sugar. Rich chocolatey flavor at the start with a smooth and creamy middle and a sweet finish. Was surprised that it was a quad and not a stout.

22 oz bottle shared with the group in December 2012. Pours a slightly hazy brown color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma and flavor had sweet caramel, toffee, some milk chocolate, dark fruits especially on the flavor, Belgian candi sugar. I thought this was sweet, but very good in my opinion.

Pours dark black/red with thin off white head, aroma has notes of big, big chocolate, banana, some dark fruit and a touch of alcohol. Taste is chocolate, sweet banana, some candied dark fruit, a bit of a sweet finish.
