Sample from a growler shared by keir- thanks again! Pours a dark reddish copper color with a small off-white head. The aroma is pretty mild and didn’t turn up a lot- leafy hops, earth, and some overripe fruits. The flavor brings out a lot more, however- notes of tea leaves, black licorice, overripe pit fruits, earth, and just a little malt. Light-medium bodied, with a leafy mouthfeel and mild carbonation. Pretty interesting beer, and I’m looking forward to next year’s hop harvest so I can try this one again.
