I like this wheat a lot although the tart or sourness of the beer is slightly surprising and doesn’t seem to fit the style. A medium bodied, golden looking beer with typical spicing otherwise.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle from seymour poured into a weizen glass. Pours hazy pale golden with small white head. Thin small bubble lacing, medium body, smooth texture, medium carbonation, and light citrus aroma. Taste is citrus, light spicy yeast, hint of pepper, and some coriander. Pretty good.

Bottle. Is what it claims...Belgian wheat. The coriander and orange are fine, but the wheat bit isn’t as strong as I’d like...little watery and has a strange tart flavor. I don’t mind it, reminds me of an unsweetened apple cider, but the tartness sticks out and if you like that or not I guess might alter your opinion on this one. I like it, recommend it for the price. Could do with a bit more punch. 4.5% abv.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 12/20
22oz bomber poured into a shaker. Pours a slightly cloudy orange with about 2 fingers of fizzy white head. Aroma of orange citrus and some baking spices. Taste is light sweet. Orange citrus and coriander. Light bodied with a thin texture. Fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, it’s ok, but not great. There are better witbiers out there but for 4 bucks a bottle, try it if you find it.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted from 12oz bottle into nucleated pint glass. Appearance, aroma and flavor were all true-to-style Belgian Wit. Mellow wheat mouthfeel, citrus, coriander, faint clove, very fizzy, a little bready, tart, crisp and refreshing. Compared to classic examples, this one was a little less chalky and more acidic, better head retention from the oats. Not much, but a hint of Berliner Weiss sourness. Good stuff. I’ll definitely buy this again.
