Draft from the Stables, St. Louis. Tasted 7/1/08. Hazy with a golden amber hue. Finger width of lacing off-white head. Slightly grainy nose with big fruity estery hop notes. Medium bodied with a great vanilla creaminess, off set by the citrus and grapefruit hop bitterness. Good malt notes with a moderate effervescence. Lingering hop finish. Nice sweet/bitter balance. Mild candy sweetness. Good roll over the palate. The fruity orange and citrus notes really start to shine as the beer warms and the glass empties.

Draught at The Stable, St. Louis. Pours clear amber with a small, fizzy, white head, mostly diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, straw, meal), heavy hops (flowers, perfume, pine, resin), average yeast (dough, sweat) with notes of apple and pear. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity, and heavy bitterness.

STL microfest. Pours hazy orange with a beige head. The aroma has lots of floral and tropical hoppiness along with pine and woodiness ~ nice. Medium body with quite a bit of prickly carbonation. The flavor starts with tropical fruits then the hops show more of a piny / woody trait. A good beer and the best I’ve had form the brewery (winery).
