3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 jandd1983 (1576) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - NOV 11, 2012It poured a hazy light golden color with a small white head. The aroma was of light hops, notes of citrus fruit and was lightly floral. The taste was crisp and light though still has good pilsener flavor with a light hop character. Very tasty.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 theisti (2821) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - DEC 7, 2012
22 oz bomber shared by beastiefan2k. The pour is a lightly hazed light yellow, with a smallish white head. The aroma is soft malt, some floral hop, and not too much else. The taste is the lightly sweet floral malt and hops, slightly brash malt quality, and the yeast shows pretty strong in the finish. The palate is medium to light bodied, lower carbonation level, and a yeasty slightly dirty finish. Not all that clean. Thanks for sharing this one Eugene.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 vyvvy (3225) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - NOV 23, 2012
Pours hazy light orange/yellow with a small white head. The aroma is a bit sweet for a pils having light toffee and undercooked dough. There is a bit of spice, sulfur and grass as well. Medium crisp body that gets a lot smoother than normal with a light amount of carbonation. The flavor starts with sweeter malt than normal and a bit of spicy hops. The finish has cracker qualities, gets drier and shows some grassy hoppiness. Still quite maltier than I’m used to having in a pils. Okay beer.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 phaleslu (4431) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 9, 2012
Draft at the brewery, served in a pint glass. I saw this in the Charleville listings and wondered why I had never had it, but apparently it’s only been available at the brewery. But it looks like it’s in bottles now, too, so maybe we’ll see it up in STL soon. Anyway, it pours a bright, clear gold with a finger of surprisingly long-lasting white head and rising carbonation bubbles the whole time. The aroma is clean and fresh, with pale and bready malts, straw, grassy hops (Saaz?). The flavor is more of that plus some crackers and herbs. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation on the palate and a crisp, fresh, clean mouthfeel. Perfectly refreshing beer on a hot (100+ degrees!) day at Charleville. An underrated (so far) pils.

Pour is a bright yellow with a white head. Aroma is corn and grain with nothing in the way of saaz hops. Flavor is about the same. Lots of corn, grain with little or no hops. Nothing like a good pils should be. Probably made for bud lite drinkers to have something while they are at the winery.

Sampled at an esbls tadting. This is a gusher with a big white head. The beer is clear golden. I smell European hops that are a bit sulfury and light fruit. The flavor is soft fruit and gentle hops. This is subtle but nice and a good session beer.

Bomber to footed pilsner. Pours light gold with very small head that dissipates quickly. Some floral, grass and sour citrus. Very mild hop/pilsener flavor, more like a pale lager, but does have a nice finish on back of the tongue. Rather thin palate with fair amount of carbonation. Not really much going on here, just "okay."
