Our Amber is a beautiful red color with slight sweetness and a wonderful blend of hops.

Nose is full of toffee and bread crust. Very sweet but a weird roastiness and tartness. Awkward.

355ml bottle. Just a mundane and old tasting amber ale, not thriling whatsoever.

Ferris (7578) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 21, 2014
Bottle - Toasted grains and caramel. Clear amber with a decent beige head. Nutty, caramel and some grains. Hops come out in the finish with a lite bitterness. Style on point, but nothing unique.

deyholla (8011) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 11, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of toast, nuttiness and grain with a bit of buttery popcorn. Flavor has a combination of toast, nuttiness, sweet grains and buttery popcorn.

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours brown with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel and nutty and toffee from the malts, some light hops, and hints of dough, with light metallic notes. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not the best beer.

1/7/2014. On tap. Amber color with a white head. Caramel flavors with malt and light hops. Pretty plain flavors, mostly caramel.

JBPortland (1147) - Portland, Maine, USA - DEC 8, 2013
12oz bottle thanks to cparles! Pours cloudy pale red-brown with 2 finger head. Nose is fruity roasty nutty. Seems a touch over carbonated. Taste is roasty malt and nuts with some apple and apricot. Finish is slightly tart (bad bottle?) and roast, some smoky notes, apple. Might have been an off bottle, a little strange.

Bottle from friar tuck’s in st Louis, pours clear dark brown with no head, some malts, fruit , hins of coffee, not bad, not special

Braudog (5999) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - AUG 27, 2013
Bottle. Pretty standard American Amber. Big and sticky, with rich caramel and toffee character. It’s kinda nice since everyone wants to do some "IPA" thing, this is a nice change. (#5216, 8/27/213)

Hops are not very pronounced. Fizzy first taste, with a caramel flavor (Amber Ale), but with a slightly metallic after taste.
