Our Amber is a beautiful red color with slight sweetness and a wonderful blend of hops.

This beer is a very clear amber color in the glass and upon it sits but a little ring of head. It has a malty nose w/ some toasty notes and some toffee. This is medium bodied and just a bit sweet and that sweetness brings w/ it a pretty nice malt character. It finishes w/ a bit of grassy, earthy bitterness.

Pour at the RBsG 2014 Schlafly Brunch (Maplewood, MO). Pours a deeper glowing copper pour, fiery glow with a bit of tannish ringed head atop. Mellow lacing, just faint haze in the body. Aromas are a bit sweet, gentle caramel and faint toast. Some earthy hops, gentle biscuit and florals. Initial is a bit nutty, lighter end of medium bodied with some toastiness, gentle orange and floral. A bit of toastiness, faint cocoa and dryness as we start to get past the middle. A bit toasty, dry, some nuttiness and carmelized meet that gentle floral and faint citric hop element. Finish a bit bitter, nutty. A touch sweet and sticky for me, the hop element helps you through it as it is solid enough to do some work. Ok. Pretty pour.

Nose is full of toffee and bread crust. Very sweet but a weird roastiness and tartness. Awkward.

355ml bottle. Just a mundane and old tasting amber ale, not thriling whatsoever.

Bottle - Toasted grains and caramel. Clear amber with a decent beige head. Nutty, caramel and some grains. Hops come out in the finish with a lite bitterness. Style on point, but nothing unique.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of toast, nuttiness and grain with a bit of buttery popcorn. Flavor has a combination of toast, nuttiness, sweet grains and buttery popcorn.

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours brown with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel and nutty and toffee from the malts, some light hops, and hints of dough, with light metallic notes. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not the best beer.

1/7/2014. On tap. Amber color with a white head. Caramel flavors with malt and light hops. Pretty plain flavors, mostly caramel.

12oz bottle thanks to cparles! Pours cloudy pale red-brown with 2 finger head. Nose is fruity roasty nutty. Seems a touch over carbonated. Taste is roasty malt and nuts with some apple and apricot. Finish is slightly tart (bad bottle?) and roast, some smoky notes, apple. Might have been an off bottle, a little strange.
