COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A beer experience with a true distinction, our Triple wit is a unique bottle conditioned Belgian style ale. Made from two row barley, white wheat and rolled oats. To compliment the satiating taste only found by using a traditional top fermenting yeast, coriander and oranges are added. This addition during the brewing process lends to the delicate balance of flavors between the malt hops and yeast.

Poursd a good cloudy deep gold. Aroma of chardonnay, coriander, wheat and orange. Mellow, but a lot going on. Tastes pretty sweet with caramel, brown sugar, grape, grass, wheat and orange. Mouthfeel is fairly full, sticky and slightly viscous and creamy. Finishes pretty clean. Good!

Appearance: Pours a clearish, orange-gold body with a thin, white head. Smell: Delicate pale malts and a bit of wheat mingled with notes of sugar and spice which is scattered by a big, fragrant whiff of freshly-peeled oranges. Taste: Light pale malts with just a light touch of candi sugar. Particularly strong orange character, like a heavy-handed pour of essential oil. Vague hints of wheat, slightly tangy. Faint banana. Very subtle transitional bitterness as you round the corner towards the finish. Some peppery alcohol, as well as a dose of coriander spice in the latter half. Creamy finish with a lingering touch of spice. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Drinkability: I found it to be both an interesting and enjoyable American-made tripel that went down fairly easily for being such a strong, full brew.

Bottle thanks to BarZigKin. Notes of peppered dryer sheets, banana creme dessert drizzled with caramel. Creamy mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

22oz bomber from Colonial in Little Rock. Hazy orange/amber pour with very little head. Aroma of orange zest, malty sweetness, coriander, yeast and alcohol. Flavor mirrors the aroma with orange peel, spice and wheat. Medium, semi-syrupy mouthfeel with a nice long spicy finish. Far less alcohol in the flavor than the aroma.

Tasted 1/21/09. 22oz sample bottle. Hazy with a golden orange hue. Ring of off-white head. Citrus and coriander aromas with lemon and banana layered aromas. Medium to full bodied with a sweet flavor. Moderate effervescence. Chalky with a tasty dose of pepper. This is a well masked 9% beer. Ample, yer lightly roasted malt character. Toasty. Good yeast characters that give off a berry, estery finish. Citrus hops in the finish, yet mild. Great drinkability, for the high gravity. The alcohol creeps as it warms, but tastefully. Good zesty character. Great job! Thanks to Mike & Tony for the delivery!

Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours hazy orange with a slight, transient white head. Aromas of zest, yeast/spice, kandi and perfume! Maybe that should be floral. Med body, almost. Flavor is orange, arguably coriander, indeterminate grain, and yeast. Floral, kandi and perfume seem to be gone quickly. There is no trace of heat. Deadly lawnmower beer. It has that nagging taste usually found in tripels. Tripels - it’s a love - confused relationship. Anyway this one fits right in as the orange fatigues out somewhat. Nice drink.

Pour is a cloudy orange with no real head to speak of. Aroma is a very nice spice, corriander and yeast. Flavor is also a very decent citrus fruit with some banana and cloves. You actually start out with some wit flavors but the triple flavors follow up nicely. This is a very good and well made beer.

On Draught. Dark cloudy golden color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is sweet malt and yeast. Taste is sweet malt, citrucy tartness, banana and corriander. Excellent example of the style.

Nicely crafted beer from the folks at Charleville. Pours hazy orange / copper with a soapy off-white head. The aroma has coconut, banana, light sweetness, wheat, clove, coriander and tripel style maltiness. Medium body with light carbonation. The flavor starts with nectar fruits, banana, pepper, orange, coriander, a touch of abv and an overall smoothness. The finish gets a bit creamy with rich coconut showing. abv is quite well hidden as well. A really nicely crafted beer and a home run for the price ($4.50/22 oz) considering the quality and alcohol content.

Pours a transparent copper orange with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of fresh sweet orange peel and biscuity Belgian malt. Starts with good fullness and coriander spice along with some Belgian yeasty esters and light fruitiness before a drier, toasty bittersweet finish. An enjoyable spiced tripel.
