(22oz. bottle) Pours a hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of clove, wheat, coriander, light florals, and banana. Flavor of wheat, some citrus, yeast, and grass.

Cask at the brewpub. It poured a cloudy golden color with an off-white head. The aroma was malty and yeasty. The taste was malty, citrusy some tartness, a little banana and corriander. A very good Tripel.

Aroma: The nose has notes of orange, citrus, corriander, other spices, and yeast
Appearance: It pours a somewhat cloudy golden-orange color with a fizzy white head
Flavor: The taste is rather sweet and fruity, lots of orange, with some more subtle yeast/spice
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a soft carbonation, with a little tingle, and a decent finish
Overall Impression: This is a fairly sweet and orange example of the style, with a slightly sour, citrusy feel. It is a solid beer, but I thought it could have been a little better. It felt a touch overly sweet to me, but I thought it still worked pretty well. I don’t really know how to feel about this one. My opinion changed a few times as I was drinking it, but I settled here.

Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours hazy orange with a slight, transient white head. Aromas of zest, yeast/spice, kandi and perfume! Maybe that should be floral. Med body, almost. Flavor is orange, arguably coriander, indeterminate grain, and yeast. Floral, kandi and perfume seem to be gone quickly. There is no trace of heat. Deadly lawnmower beer. It has that nagging taste usually found in tripels. Tripels - it’s a love - confused relationship. Anyway this one fits right in as the orange fatigues out somewhat. Nice drink.

Draft sample at St. Louis Microfest 2011. Pours a pale, dull yellow color with a big white head. Aroma of coriander, orange peel, banana, candi sugar, sweet malts, bubblegum, and clove. Flavor is pretty similar- banana, bubblegum, sweet malts, sugar, corn syrup, orange peel, clove, coriander, and bread. Medium-bodied, with modest carbonation and a chewy, bready mouthfeel. Nice mix of a Belgian tripel and a witbier, and hits all the familiar notes.

Bottle from a trade with drfabulous. Pours clear light amber color with thin white head. Aromas of corriander and orange peel. Sweet fruity flavor, doughy yeast and some spices. Some corriander also. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Quite an interesting brew. Smells like a witbier but tastes like a Belgian tripel. Thanks Jeff.

Bottle. Poured a hazy orange color with a smaller white head. Aroma was orange, citrus, banana, and other spices. Full body, with some carbonation bubbles. Flavor was spices, sour fruits, and some alcohol. Aftertaste was long and had a more alcohol burn. All in all a good beer.

13-Feb-10 (22-oz bottle: Purchased 22-Dec-09 for $4.69 at www.wineandcheeseplace.com) This Tripel Wit certainly drinks closer to a Belgian tripel than a wit; it’s essentially a tripel with coriander and orange peel. It delivers a full, rich body and plenty of sweetness for a fairly viscous mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Sweet flavors of bubblegum and very ripe banana mingle with contrasting addition of prominent coriander and mildly bitter orange peel. The nose projects significant coriander, sweet stone fruitiness, ripe banana, clove, caramel, and bready malt. Hazy golden-orange in color, but the off-white head pours very small and dissipates rapidly, so lacing is impossible. This isn’t a beer you can drink a lot of, but it’s very tasty and nicely balanced for a hybrid of two styles. My favorite of the five bottled products I’ve tried from this brewery.

Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is fruity citrus, light Belgian spice, banana, Flavor is floral, citrusy, sweet and spicy. Dry finish with alcohol fairly well hidden.

Bottle, shared by Paskie. Hazy warm orange pour, fine white head. Fresh coconut nose, delicate coriander, roses. Flavor is big time orange juice, sweet and a bit thick, but so cheerful you don’t really mind. Nice toasty white bread finish. Not one I’d like by the pint, but would happily pair a small glass of this with a Saturday morning’s eggs and bacon.

From a 22-oz bottle courtesy of Strykzone, this poured a brownish orange, cloudy, and with a fat white head and good lacing rings. Nose is strongly fruity with and aroma of peaches. The body is medium, and the mouthfeel lively, probably from the alcohol. The flavor is fruity as well with spices showing, was there is a perfume quality with a along linger sweet finish. Lots to like here. Again thanks Strykzone for a great beer.
