COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Oh farewell summer of sun and humid heat. Fall is here yet another year. No feast nor fest neither shall there be rest, until the fruits of fertility brew us thy ale. Oh brewer with the harvest at hand, brew us the ale in which we demand. The Witch’s Brew’mmm is a Belgian style ale brewed with pumpkin and spices. A whimsical yeast and a handful of hops.

Draft at The Bridge. Pours a clear amber-orange color with a small off-white ring for a head. Aroma has a nice blend of pumpkin ale spices- nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar, along with sweet graham cracker and caramel malts. The flavor is more earthy, while retaining the same spices and sweetness, along with some vegetal pumpkin and Belgian breadiness. No alcohol can be detected. Medium-bodied, with a sweet, mildly spicy, chewy mouthfeel and low carbonation. Excellent pumpkin ale.

Sample at beerfest. Looked good, smelled good, didn’t taste the best. Poured a darker amber orange color with a finger off white head. Did leave minimal lacing on the glass as it went. Aroma was cinnamon, pumpkin and spices. Smelled like pumpkin pie in the glass. Flavor was nutmeg, vanilla, pumpkin and sweet spices. Tasted very thin and watery. Something just didnt balance in this beer. All looked and smelled good just something off in the taste. Could have been a lot better.

Hazy/lightly cloudy. Not sparkling. Many medium-sized particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of pumpkin, spices, light caramel, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Medium body. Lightly sticky texture. Average carbonation. Pumpkin, spice, light caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg finish is lightly sticky. 7.2%ABV is completely hidden throughout.

New name of Witch’s Brew’mmm. Pour is an bright orange with a small white head. Aroma is a mild wheat with an even milder spice. Flavor is a little more spice but nothing stands out and pumpkin is no where to be found. When I saw a new local pumpkin beer was coming out I really wanted to get this but what I found was just a wheat beer with some weak spice thrown in it.
