COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Amber-red with lasting head that weaves it's web, taste after taste. Orange and spice in the nose. Generous, sweet flavour with pleasant alcohol warming. Very complex, it will be a treat for the true beer lover.

Acid/sour taste that is perfect for this beer. Totally refreshing in the summer. Usually seems to have a chill hase.

Slightly sour, spicy, alcoholic apple cider aroma with notes of bitter orange. Golden amber coloured body with thin but dense white head that lasts nicely. Oranges carry through to the sweet, biscuity flavour more-so than apples. Some citrusy lemon also notable. Creamy medium body with slightly prickly mouthfeel. Restrained but exciting. This is a mild yet enticing Belgian Strong. Very easy to drink... Enjoyed it cold - as it warms up, diacetyl becomes very noticeable in both the aroma and flavour. I would bump down aroma by two, flavour by four points, palate by two and overall by four because of this. Score as rated splits the difference - originally - 6,4,7,4,13=3.4. Drink it cold - at warmer temperatures, not so good - 4,4,3,2,9=2.2. Bottle.

The nose was interesting with green apples, chocolate, earthy notes and just a hint of cotton candy. The taste is of green apples, sour malt and an astringent finish. To me it seemed like a brown ale, but maybe I am out of it.

(66o ml bottle) Pours a medium, creamy, quick dissipating, almond head and a cloudy copper body. Aroma of sweet malt, strong whiskey and oranges. Somewhat contrast thin body and tart flavour to the aroma. Light, biting alcohol, mid-palate of a sour port and bouncing market fruit - oranges and apples. Finish of a sour apple cider...

Poured, this beer is dark brown with a thin head with no legs (doesn’t last). It has a good strong malt backbone, with some strange spicing rising to the palate. Certainly sweet orange peels, but others, perhaps some cinamin, and some cloves but everything is at the edge of perception, more like a suggestion...

A good bottle is a thick and luscious apple cider…Spring spices on a bed of sugary fruit… A bad bottle is cloying metal and rotten fruit…The brewer of this tiny and far microbrewery is known though to travel many miles to take some old bottles of his off of shelves which do not treat them well…Worth a try…

Stange brew.Nose has a bit of smoke and spices.Dry and crisp mouthfeel but also pretty short.Has lots of yeast and ends with a vinegar/white pepper finish.Nothing more than a curiosity

It is back on the market. Dark hazy amber with a head that won’t last. Lemon, yeast, spices, apricot and a bit of bubble gum aroma. This beer isn’t sure if it wants to be sweet, acid or anything else as a matter of fact. It didn’t impress me.

I guess it is back on the market now. Dark amber, yeasty, medicinal Belgian session ale. Bov is right about it not being one of the finer examples.

nothing to do with ’divin’ ! this one does not deserve to be a belgian ale.
