On tap at Buvette Scott. Clear amber pour with thin white head. Aroma is grainy, leafy pepper hop, light vegetal notes, menthol. You can taste the Belgian yeast more than you can smell it, quite spicy, yeasty. Palate is med bodied with light carbonation. Not bad, but a bit cloying.

(Rating #5837)

An orange amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice fruity caramel malt with light rye notes, barley sugar, nice. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with nutty notes, roasted grain, OK. On tap at Baril Roulant.

on tap at saint-pub. hazy dark golden, orange tint, with a small light beige cap, some retention and lacing. toasted buttery maltiness, awkward fruitiness - slightly garbagy, some nuts and berries, grassy herbal hops, pepper. moderate carbonation, light body - oily, bland herbal-grassy-peppery finish. major flaws. blah.

Drank on tap (10 oz) at Saint-Graal (Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec) on June 15, 2014. Coppery amber, thin head. Fruity barley aroma sweet notes of peach tea. Small fruit taste slightly sour, a little barley, aftertaste of fruity caramel. This is a typical amber!
