Bouteille 500ml.

Originally rated September 2006. Bought at the Dépanneur À-Tout-Prix in Laval, Quebec. Pours a dark copper-amber colour with a big off-white creamy head. Retention is great and patchy lacing is left. Average carbonation made of tiny bubbles. Oh wow ! Amazing aroma, with some spices like pepper and coriander, fruits like oranges and apples, and some Belgian yeast. Slightly creamy mouthfeel and slightly watery which makes this brew quite refreshing. The taste has everything found in the nose. Good spices and fruits mixed well together. I really enjoyed this brew, as it is well-balanced between a session brew and Belgian ale. Highly recommended.

[409-20070708] Bottle (c/o tuqueboy, w/ him, jerc). Medium alcohol aroma with some grains. Hazy, dark amber brown body with a long-lasting foamy off-white head. Lightly charred malt flavour with some grains and caramel and a hint of spice. Medium body. Good, not too complicated.

Cloudy amber-orangeish hue, with a frothy beige head, yeasty, bready dough, with a fruity note of ripe apples, peaches, hint of spiciness, with a subtle toasted and caramel malt aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a spritzy, yeasty, fruity character, with a smooth bready dough accent, with some peaches, pineapples, stewed apples fruitiness, with a coriander spiciness, a floral hop note, leading towards a fruity, citrus hop bittering finish.

Bouteille.

Bottle. Pours a clear red-copper body with a large frothy eggshell head. The aroma consists of significant spices- clove, pepper, sweet bread, and some apricots. Warm plum and spicy flavours in a creamy palate. Becomes a little bit too sweet at times but overall still quite nice.
