750ml corked bottle shared by suzygreenberg. Pours a cloudy yellow straw color with a nice thick and lively white head that leaves a great lace as it drinks down. Sweet peppery apple nose with a touch of some other spices in there. Sharp carbonation and slightly bitter on the palate with great honey sweetness and some earthy floral hints. I think that this bottle had a bit of age on it and it was still great, but I would certainly like to try a ’younger’ bottle of this. Thanks for sharing this one Ben!

MN Ratebeer Winter Gathering, January 10, 2009. Courtesy of MatSciGuy. Hazy gold color with a medium head. Strong saison-like aroma, with lots of hay, sweet lemon and flowers. Light citrusy, orange, tangerine flavor A smack of Noble hops. Quite yeasty. Dry finish.

Sampled during MN Gathering II in Maplewood and shared by MatSciGuy. From a 750 ml wine bottle pours a hazy golden blonde brew with plenty of white head that has great retention and lacing. Aroma of tropical fruits, pineapple, apricots, some golden grain malt, flowery hops and dry herbs. Taste is medium bodied, some extra carbonation with flavors of pineapple, tangerines, apricots, white bread malt and a hint of green mint. Finish has a light mint and clove spice aftertaste that made this one stand out. Thanks Levi for sharing this terrific ale.

Sample enjoyed at Skyview tasting. Nice yellow pour with aroma of apricot and papaya. Flavor was pleasantly yeasty, bitter and finished a little dry. A very good brew.

Thanks Levi. Hazy yellow pour with a foamy off white head. Nice lacing. Spices, pineapple and hops on the nose. The spices and light fruits come out a bit more in the flavor along with some dryness.

Sampled at Skyview’s tavern. Certainly the first thing I noticed with this beer was the interesting shape of the bottle. Light golden pour. Aroma of pear, apricot, citrus, bread, and flowery hops. Finish was slightly dry. A pretty decent and well crafted brew. Enjoyable!

Bottle thanks to Bert from Stateline. Poured a light golden/ yellow color, with big old cream head. It was very carbonated. Aroma was mint and hops. Taste was earthy, citrus, and caramel. Finished clean and drinkable. Thanks again Sloth.
