3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
75 cl bottle vintage 2010 @ PBF VIII
Aroma quite yeasty and floury with some apricot. Flavour is quite strong on apricot. Also some soapy notes, herbal tones and spices. Very foamy and creamy palate. Nice, I like the apricot tones here.

750 ml bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.; thanks DuffMan). Looks good; a mostly mostly transparent vibrant orange with AMPLE white head and lively carbonation. Smells good; Belgian yeast, hops, straw, and spices with a fairly sweet, somewhat fruity backbone (maybe some apricot?). Tastes like it smells with a nice, lively mouthfeel. A good example of the style.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 ml shared by lushawn. Thanks, dude. Pours a nice darker hazed golden orange hue, nice darker glow, firm haze. Frothy whitish head is big, sticks around as a cakey layer, laces well. Aromas are dill a bigger hops, a firmer yeast presence, a bit tart with some bread, pear, tart apple. Some florals, straw, more dill and gentle spice. Initial is much different, a bit sweeter, honey crisp apples, dough, and gentle lemon. A touch sticky, some vanilla, and gentle spice.some gentle clove, ester, and honey. Backend is a touch of earth, floral and grass. Some gentle honeycomb, toast, and some firm florals and earthy hops. More Belgian gentle yeast, fruit, some spice and stickiness. Solid, the nose is completely different. Ok.

750 ml bottle shared by Loineshawn- thanks again, Shawn! This has been a very, very long-time member of my Wants list. Fancied bottle. Pours a somewhat cloudy golden color with a smallish white head. Notes of strong floral and citrusy hops on top of a sweet and bready Belgian malt profile. Mellow peppery spice and herbs, some dried apricot and white raisins. Medium-bodied, with a clean mouthfeel despite its sweetness and malt. Moderate carbonation. Really nice and different. Enjoyed this a lot.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap, clear golden pour with large off white head. Aroma of yeast, spice, caramel, apricot and hops. Taste of yeast, cotton candy, citrus, caramel, slightly fruity and floral. Full bodied, medium carbonation and a dry hoppy finish. Would have scored higher but just a little too much syrupy hops on the finish. Very good beer.

6/13/13. 750mL thanks to mathieuc! Clear orange pour with a light khaki head. Light skunk in the aroma with lots of candy sugar and dry hops. Sweet sugar in the flavor, pale malts, more candy sugar, and light hops. On the sweet side and a touch disappointing. A bit of a lingering dryness, but too sweet in the front and middle.

Pours an apricot color with a big white fluffy head. The nose is Caramelized fruit (apricot and peach). The pallet is super caramelly with notes of orange, citrus and apricot.
