3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
750ml bottle. Pours hazy, deep golden with two tons of almost white head. A little funk on the nose with some fruit, spice and a faint hop presence. A little muted on the palate but there’s a good drying quality and feel of dry hay with a fair spiciness.

8 oz pour at Beer Revolution. Pours a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head and lots of lace. Aroma is of farmhouse yeast, pepper, citrus, soft fruits Clean mouthfeel, medium carbonation, mild alcohol warmth. Taste is a crisp sweetness, tempered with herbal notes, mild pepperiness, mild sourness from the yeast. Awesome introduction for me in the world of Saison.

More details to come later as I didn’t take the time to write down notes while bathing in the sun and drinking this. It’s official that there will be (many) repeat over the course of summer!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a slightly hazy straw gold with a beautiful foamy white cap that leaves behind good lacing. The aroma is lemon, a biit of funk and basement, pepper, hay, yeast and esters. Flavour is estery, peach and citrus, with a dry grain like quality which moves into a peppery not that trails into the finish with a mix of fresh bread. Its a solid, complex, entertaining and drinkable brew.
