750 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a large white head. A sweet nose of honey and pepper. Big flavors: clean, peppery, light citrus, very dry yeast, refreshing. Very good. Dead on Saison.

[4461-20120607] Tap. Light sweet yeasty aroma ha a little orange flower tinge to it. Hazy, light orange brown body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Orange cream flavour has a bitter bite with quite a nice aftertaste. Medium body. Tasty and quite drinkable. (7/4/8/4/16) 3.9

Yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has some wheat, citrus and pepper notes. The flavor is full of oranges and lemons as well as yeast and white pepper. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Brouhaha, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of light Belgian yeast, some biscuity malt - not a whole lot here. Flavour of Belgian yeast, some candied sugar and soft malt backing, no hop presence. Medium carbonation and lightly sweet (more than a traditional saison though). Decent, but not my type of saison - prefer it more wild and funky.

Draft at mondial. Hazy honey gold, luscious head and lace. Aroma is floral, spritzy, and light. Orange blossom. Balanced--floral without being perfumed, fresh and friendly bitterness. Light, cheerful, solid.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Lightly hazy, dark golden color with a small white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of cloves, phenols, some hay, light spices, honey, and light alcohol. Taste of sweeter honey, some clove, hay, light spices, and a slightly sweet finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle shared by Drew. Thanks, man! Pours a richer golden hue, a touch of darkness, some good glow with some nice carbonation. Frothy whitish head stays as a firm layer, laces ok. Aromas are firmly dry and gentle yeast, some bread, dough. Touches of apple, mellow spice, funk and florals. Initial is mellow bodied, some mellow bready and grainy malts, firm dryness and richer carbonation on the palate. Touches of florals, earth, apples and gentle pear. Middle is dry, crisp carbonation. Touches of spice, mellow sweetness as the beer remains quite dry overall. Finish is dry, a gentle spice, lively carbonation, and gentle tart lightly sweet fruit. Nice.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Big bottle. I thought this was really good. Not jus Saoson funk but stronger malt than usual and a hint of caramel underneath a beer with strong "typical" Sason qualities.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some great lacing. Aroma consists of fruity ester with nice solid rustic Belgian malt backbone. Taste is also a great mix between some rustic malt notes with floral undertones and semi-sweet rustic Belgian malt. Light peppery and yeasty finish. Body is about average with great carbonation. Well done with good level of drinkability and great work on the fruity ester originating from the yeast strain.
