Bottled @ ZZT 9, small sample. Almost clear golden color, big frothy head. Aroma of spicy yeast, bit peppery, floewry hop. Bit sweet taste, bit caramel malt, bit dry. Slight estery. Decent stuff.

Bottle: Poured a clear amber color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some great lacing. Aroma consists of fruity ester with nice solid rustic Belgian malt backbone. Taste is also a great mix between some rustic malt notes with floral undertones and semi-sweet rustic Belgian malt. Light peppery and yeasty finish. Body is about average with great carbonation. Well done with good level of drinkability and great work on the fruity ester originating from the yeast strain.

Big bottle. I thought this was really good. Not jus Saoson funk but stronger malt than usual and a hint of caramel underneath a beer with strong "typical" Sason qualities.

14/IX/13 - on tap @ Hoppy Loft (Delirium café, Brussels) - BB: n/a (2013-850) Thanks to KyotoLefty for sharing the beer!

Clear pale amber beer, creamy off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: ripe fruits, bit funky, cultivated bretta, dairy, hay. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: metallic, grassy bitterness, dairy, funky, hay, weird touch, some marzipan. Aftertaste: funky, little sweet, floral, hay, pretty bitter and dry. I can’t help myself but I have the impression that this brewery is overly hyped. I’ve had several of the Dominus Vobiscum series, and none were as good as their RB scores would like you to think.

czar (4107) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 6, 2012
pours hazy bright golden with a towering foamy white head, excellent retention and lacing. breadied malts, citrus, yet very herbal, spicy, floral, yeasty, light pepper, oranges, light vanilla. hint of sweetness - tad too malty. lively, medium body - oily, very nice short but fairly present citrusy finish - the kind that makes want another sip right away! charlevoix’s lupulus feeling here, hop-wise. just WOW.

750ml corked bottle pours a pale golden orange color with a massive white head that leaves some thin lacing on the glass. Aroma is light grains and fruits with a bold grassy and herbal notes. Taste is light fruits up front followed by an intense grassy and herbal hop bitterness that ends with a slightly yeasty finish. Light to medium body with intense carbonation leaves a nice feeling on the palate. Well done and tasty brew that is definitely recommended for a tasting.

Bottle thanks to Dany. Poured a clear gold body with a huge fluffy white head. Aroma is slightly peppery with grains, yeast, cloves and some banana. The flavor isn’t quite as good as the aroma with notes yeast, light lemon citrus, toast, grains, bubble gum and white pepper. Body is super delicate, light carbonation and an averge duration on the finish. Solid beer.

Wonderful. Pours with a big frothy head. Lots of lacing, cloudy blond. Smell has hay-like yeast and a little orange peel. Taste has citrus and bitterness. Soft carbonation. A faint sugary sweetness. Big bottle from Peluso.

Idiosynkrasie (3578) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 7, 2014
750ml bottle. Hazy golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Typical Saison aroma in mild fulfilment, cautious fruity notes, a very cautious touch of smoke, herbal hoppy overtones. Taste is rather similar; soft palate, soft carbonation, silky mouthfeel. Though very mild and soft a superbly balanced, multifaceted and "ample" Saison.
